ABB have developed an ECharge Mining concept to demonstrate how they can help move away from fossil fuels to all-electric operations. The vast geographical area of Australia creates challenges for hauling trucks over long distances and ABB wanted to present how their electrified solution could offer a huge opportunity to reduce carbon emissions from pit to port.
TO CLARITY
The video was created as a supporting asset for an ABB proposition to provide a charging infrastructure solution on a mass scale. The story begins with live action shots of different geological terrains to indicate the scale of the solution, and then moves on to explain each component from the solar generator to the battery to the charger and to the haulage truck. The video also highlights the solutions modular possibilities for expanding the ECharge network nationwide through the addition of charging stations.
